Neo Solar Power Corporation (3576 TT) (“NSP”, or “the Company”), a leading producer of high quality solar cells in Hsinchu, Taiwan, today announced that it has signed a 3-year wafer supply contract with GCL –Poly (3800.HK). Under terms of the contract, GCL will provide 350 MW of solar wafers to NSP from the fourth quarter of 2010 to the end of 2013. This contract further consolidated the long-term strategic relationships between both sides.
NSP is one of the fastest growing solar cell manufacturers in the world that continually expands its long-term cooperation relationships on wafer sourcing so as to secure a steady wafer supply, aiming to lower manufacturing cost whilst maintaining superior wafer quality and timely delivery.
